Our sixth plant at D72 adds dedicated pressing, assembly and machining capacity, joining five existing units across 50,000 square yards of covered manufacturing area.
Swati Industries has commissioned its sixth production unit at D72, Phase V Focal Point, Ludhiana. The new plant is configured for pressing, assembly and machining, and joins five existing units across a group total of 50,000 square yards of covered manufacturing area and a 1000+ strong workforce.
Six plants, built one at a time
- 1988 — D74, our first manufacturing unit: forgings, sheet metal, casting and fabrication
- 2006 — D71: forgings, pressings, headers, machining and plating
- 2011 — D97: forgings, pressings, machining and plating
- 2019 — C112: forgings, pressings, fabrication and machining
- 2021 — Doraha: fabrication, pressings and machining
- 2025 — D72: pressing, assembly and machining
Each unit has been added as a distinct capability rather than a copy of the one before it — forgings and sheet metal first, then pressings, headers and plating, then fabrication, and now dedicated assembly alongside pressing and machining.
All six units are supported by a common tool room running vertical machining centres, a development section with CAD/CAM stations, and testing facilities including a universal testing machine and chemical laboratory. We develop components to customer specification from 0.100 kg to 25.00 kg.
The expansion continues a manufacturing story that began in 1988 and moved into export in 1991 — now running across four generations of the family, with Mr. Gaurish Garg contributing to operations alongside Mr. Vishal Garg and Mr. Vaneet Garg.
