Swati Industries earns the VCA – E57 accreditation — the European safety, health and environment benchmark — adding independently audited SHE management to our certification portfolio.
Swati Industries has been accredited with VCA – E57, the European benchmark for Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) management among contractors and suppliers. The accreditation applies across our manufacturing operations in Ludhiana and Doraha, Punjab.
VCA is widely required by principal contractors across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the wider European market. For a supplier of scaffolding and formwork — products that carry people and loads at height — an independently audited safety system is not a formality. It is the evidence a customer needs before our components go onto their site.
What the audit covered
- Documented SHE policy and assigned safety responsibilities across all six production plants
- Risk assessment and job-hazard analysis for pressing, forging, welding and machining operations
- Workforce training, toolbox talks and competence records across our 1000+ strong team
- Incident reporting, investigation and corrective-action closure
- Control of plant, machinery and personal protective equipment
Where it sits in our accreditation portfolio
VCA – E57 joins a certification set built up over twenty-five years: ISO 9001, first accredited in 2000 and now held to the 2015 revision; IATF 16949:2016 for automotive components, accredited in 2020; ISO 14001:2016 for environmental management, accredited in 2024; and DIN 1090-2 with ISO 3834-2 for structural steel fabrication and fusion welding, also in 2024.
Together these cover the three things our customers ask us to prove: that the product is right, that the process which made it is controlled, and that the people who made it were safe doing so. That is what “Committed to fulfil Commitments” means in practice, and it is why we keep investing in independently audited systems rather than internal assurances alone.
